Hey ho

I've decided to participate on a really nice project! It's about giving, rewarding and paying attention to others. See the guideline of ~pamelaski below
Here's my little Holiday Wishlist
1.) Tips on News articles or even deviants / deviations that could be interesting to me - mostly four eyes can notice more than two

2.) Some smalltalk with interesting people here on dA - for a little interchanging of thoughts.
3.) Critical views on what i've uploaded, tips on how i can improve what i do.
4.) Some links to tutorials (on dA, youtube, ...) that could be useful to me. Topics may be: Photo-manipulation, using GIMP the professional way, drawing realistic pieces/portraits on the PC, how to exhaust the options of a tablet (i think my parents will present me with one for christmas

).
5.) Hints on using a middle-class digital camera the right way

It'd be great to hear some proposals on good effects, lighting, ... (I'm using a Canon PowerShot A2100 IS)
6.) Your recommendation of post-modern literature (like Haruki Murakami) or -and this seems more interesting to me- of books that embossed your character.
7.) a nice compliment

8.) an album by björk, muse or placebo, but only if you have one that you don't like or don't hear anymore.
9.) A list of things you do when you're depressed, stressed or dissatisfied with yourself.
10.) inspiration!

HOLIDAY WISH LIST 2009 PROJECT - Make your lists now!

Instruction (by ~
pamelaski)
STEP ONE

Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!
STEP TWO
Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list.
And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

REMEMBER this is about ways you can help people through what you have. You do not need to blow all your savings on this , it is simply to get that good feeling when you help people out.

To me, deviantART is more than just a gallery. It's where people come for support and love from one another in an artistic sense, and communal sense, and I fear we've lost sight of that.
And somehow, the best photographers seem to come from Canada.
And how could i look at your gallery without adding something?

so if we 're starting with complimenting eachother now...
i like your signature.. even though i'm not active on dA for such a long time as you, i realized that the contact is worth a lot more on dA than the bare browsing-through-galleries.. The dialogue is what counts
